This custom built Rotax chain guard is designed for the RotaxMax motor.
It helps protect the radiator and the vulnerable lower water pump fitting from damage in the event of a chain or clutch failure. It is a proven product built, designed and tested by multiple time National champions, Ansel and Austin Gaddy, in their father’s race car shop. This Rotax Chain Guard was used by many of the entries at the 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007 Rotax Max Grand Nationals.

You can also attach the usual plastic chain guard to the rear of the Rotax Chain Guard if you want to continue it behind the axle. This Rotax Chain Guard makes for easier and quicker motor swaps as this chain guard remains on the motor.
